About The Position

VanZandt Controls and Eagle Automation are seeking an experienced Inside Sales / Support specialist for their San Antonio, Texas office. The role supports and expands sales efforts in the fast-paced oil and gas market. The successful candidate will quickly learn the growing customer base and product portfolio and thrive in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in inbound support, sales, or purchasing is preferred.
A bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Experience with Enterprise and Contact Relationship Management software.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized and disciplined.
Desire to learn and build personal skill set.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the oil and gas or electrical/automation industries.
A technical background.

Responsibilities

Complete quotations.
Follow up on sales leads.
Find and develop new opportunities within existing accounts.
Identify and pursue potential customers and markets.
Ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain records of activities using Enterprise and Contact Relationship Management software.
Assist in marketing efforts.
Purchase equipment and supplies from vendors and negotiate pricing.
Support the sales team in procuring equipment and supplies.
