About The Position

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) - Healthcare is responsible for prospecting new healthcare customers, with a primary focus on driving transactional sales of hospital TVs and related hardware. This role also supports Avidex Account Executives by providing transactional quotes and managing order processing. The ISR plays a critical role in generating revenue and gross profit by managing non-assigned accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering a high level of customer service. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and proactive in building relationships and supporting sales efforts across the business.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience required
  • 2+ years of experience in customer support, sales support, or similar role (AV/IT industry preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and PDF software
  • Experience with CRM systems preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with minimal supervision
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management and ability to meet multiple deadlines
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in stressful situations
  • Ability to work in a primarily desk-based role with extended computer use
  • Ability to perform occasional physical activities including standing, walking, lifting, and carrying

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new healthcare customers through outbound lead follow-up and outreach
  • Drive transactional sales of hospital TVs and related AV/IT hardware
  • Respond to inbound inquiries with timely, accurate quotes, pricing, and product availability
  • Support Account Executives with transactional quotes and order processing
  • Manage non-assigned accounts and identify opportunities to convert into qualified accounts
  • Sell AV/IT products to businesses and organizations via phone, email, and other channels
  • Coordinate with sales, technical services, and purchasing teams on project and bid pricing
  • Obtain special, registered, or volume pricing from manufacturers and suppliers
  • Research products and identify new or alternative vendors as needed
  • Track orders and provide updates on product delivery and availability
  • Communicate with account teams on pricing, availability, and order accuracy
  • Support marketing initiatives, including local campaigns and events (as needed)
  • Provide sales forecast data and updates to management
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and related systems
