About The Position

This position reports directly to a Vice President of RSC Sales and is responsible for helping the RSC team meet and exceed their financial objectives. The role will touch all aspects of the sales process including but not limited to market analysis, market segmentation, prospecting and closing orders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1 – 3 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Industry planning: Establishing strategies, objectives, and action plans to help deliver established sales quotas relative to the industry segments RSC supports.
  • Lead management: Manage inbound website, phone, and email leads on a daily basis. Record conversations / opportunities in SF.com
  • Customer Outreach: Conduct outbound calls focusing on prospecting and helping secure revenue generating orders
  • Value-Based Selling: Identify and confirm value proposition ORBIS products and services bring our customers through high impact questioning and deep understanding of customers supply chain.
  • Forecast planning : Work in tandem with RAMs to develop understanding of their account’s business needs to ensure balance between inventory required to support customers and working capital is kept top of mind.
  • Account penetration: Broaden presence in existing accounts; converting competitive accounts, secure new business by promoting new products and services, implement sales promotion programs, establish sales call cycle that meets needs of accounts, work with assigned channels, develop new accounts by prospecting, lead follow-up, and working with new business development, develop an understanding of new markets with applications aligning with Orbis’ strategies.
  • Order Management: Work in conjunction with Customer Support to effectively manage order intake.
