About The Position

Skyline Steel, LLC is seeking a Sales Support teammate to join its team in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Sales Support is an integral part of the Skyline team. The role supports sales and project management and handles quote and order processing, invoicing, document organization, communications, and vendor-related activities. Successful candidates will have excellent verbal communication skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office, and a commitment to continuously developing new skills. Minimal travel is required. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; candidates must be able to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

At least 1 year of sales support, sales assistant, inside sales, customer service, or vendor management experience.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the steel or construction industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or Management.

Responsibilities

Enter basic quote information into the ERP system.
Convert simple quotes to complex sales orders.
Process orders through invoicing.
File and organize digital documents.
Answer phones and assist sales and project management teams.
Maintain shared email inboxes and provide information to appropriate parties as needed.
Manage vendor relationships and statements.
Process vendor invoices and work with Accounts Payable on payment.
Answer vendor and teammate questions about item status.
Research accruals and payment status in the ERP system.
Initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
