As an Inside Sales Support Specialist , you will play a vital role in supporting our sales team and ensuring a seamless customer experience. In this position, you’ll assist our Outside Sales Representatives by managing customer accounts and orders, while also providing expert advice and assistance to customers at the contractor counter. Your contributions will help drive sales growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and uphold the positive reputation of Lake Lumber Co. Requirements

Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Familiarity with purchase orders and invoicing processes.
Proficiency in basic computer applications.

Previous experience in inside sales or customer support roles.

Responsibilities

Help customers locate and purchase building materials, offering product recommendations and expert advice.
Assist outside sales representatives with customer accounts, resources, and order management.
Create purchase orders and invoices for stock and special-order products, and follow up on open orders to ensure timely completion.
Schedule deliveries and credit pick-ups to meet customer needs.
Respond to customer inquiries, resolve product-related issues, and ensure satisfaction.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales environment.
Develop and maintain general knowledge of retail products and categories.
Use strong interpersonal skills to assess customer needs and provide effective solutions.
