About The Position

The Inside Sales Support Representative plays a critical role in supporting the residential and construction sales teams by managing customer inquiries, preparing quotes, coordinating orders, and ensuring a smooth sales process from initial contact through job completion. This role serves as the primary internal liaison between sales, operations, and customers to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interactions with customers, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • 2+ years of inside sales, customer service, or support experience (HVAC or construction industry preferred) with proven track record of customer interacting responsibilities.
  • Efficient management of concurrent projects, tasks, and customer inquiries through strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Self-motivated professional able to work independently or as an active team member with a results and goal-oriented approach.
  • Working knowledge of essential business applications including Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive operational support to Account Executives and Strategic Account Managers, enhancing team productivity and customer response time.
  • Manage multi-channel customer communications with exceptional professionalism, ensuring prompt resolution of inquiries through phone, email, and digital platforms.
  • Respond to inbound calls, emails, and customer requests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist customers through product selection decisions by providing consultation on products, pricing options, delivery timelines, and technical requirements.
  • Develop and prepare comprehensive, accurate quotes for equipment, materials, and services that align with customer specifications while adhering to company pricing guidelines and industry standards.
  • Monitor and track order status throughout the sales process while proactively communicating timely updates to customers and the internal sales team members to ensure transparency and maintain customer confidence.
  • Efficiently resolve pricing discrepancies, order issues, and delivery concerns to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain business relationships.
  • Identify and capitalize on upselling and cross-selling opportunities by leveraging product knowledge and understanding customer needs.
  • Proactively follow up on quotes and inactive opportunities to maximize conversion rates and drive growth for the sales channel.
  • Support implementation and execution of promotions, product launches, and special pricing programs to help meet strategic sales objectives.
