About The Position

The Inside Sales team supports the U.S. Retail Sales team by managing order entry, tracking, and daily coordination with retail accounts. This role focuses on accurately processing orders, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining clear communication between stores, internal teams, warehouses, and account managers. The position works closely with store associates, outside sales representatives, installers, and customers to ensure orders are accurate, shipped on time, and delivered as expected.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education considered an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with EDI systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including phone and email correspondence
  • Collaborative team player with a willingness to assist colleagues as needed
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on efficient and timely resolution of issues

Responsibilities

  • Review and verify orders for accurate pricing, item numbers, product assortment, compatibility, and shipment details before processing.
  • Processing EDI orders with correct messages
  • Coordinate order updates, adjustments, cancellations, and special shipping instructions with warehouse teams
  • Track shipments and provide customers and stores with delivery updates, tracking details, and shipment confirmations
  • Monitor and maintain accurate backorder records and tracking spreadsheets for all accounts
  • Communicate with customers via phone and email to resolve order discrepancies, missing information, pricing concerns, shipment issues, order discrepancies and technical product questions.
  • Making sure to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution for the customer.
  • Ensure timelines are met for resets, product rollouts, and new store openings
  • Maintain accurate customer and account data in Maximizer
  • Monitor multiple retail mailboxes, routing request appropriately
  • Collaborate with accounting and Inside sales credit – retail to resolve billing, credit, and invoice discrepancies.
  • Working closely with TM’s processing sample orders and enter information in Maximizer
