About The Position

Milton CAT is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Inside Sales Representatives. This role offers an excellent opportunity to launch a career in the heavy equipment industry, providing exposure to construction, agriculture, forestry, and logging sectors. The program includes an extensive training program covering company products, parts, services, and processes, with potential for advancement into specialist roles. The position involves working with team members across various dealership branches and focuses on building customer relationships and driving sales within a defined territory.

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
  • Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information via phone, text, and email.
  • Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
  • Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers.
  • Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.
  • Staying informed about competing products and services.
  • Researching and qualifying new leads.
  • Closing sales and achieving sales targets.
  • Complete ongoing training and development programs.
  • Working with new customers to establish a relationship with Milton CAT and process sales leads.
  • Serve as a liaison between departments.
