About The Position

Accelis Materials Plus is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering accurate pricing and lead times while providing exceptional customer service. You will play a key part in converting customer inquiries into sales, building strong relationships, and supporting the growth of both target and emerging accounts. This position requires strong organizational skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to negotiate effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency with computer systems and order entry platforms
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing or phone-based role
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • 1–2 years of inside sales or account management experience
  • Proven ability to sell, negotiate, and close business with customers
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of industrial or metal products (highly preferred)
  • Previous experience in the metals industry is a strong asset

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels
  • Prepare, issue, and follow up on quotes for a wide range of products
  • Convert customer inquiries into orders while maximizing sales opportunities
  • Process sales orders, returns, credits, and debits accurately and efficiently
  • Provide product knowledge and technical support to customers
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with purchasing/management to address supply concerns
  • Resolve customer service issues to ensure satisfaction and long-term loyalty
  • Build and grow customer relationships, developing accounts into repeat business
  • Enter and manage scrap return orders as required by distribution channels
  • Stay informed on competitor products, pricing, and market trends
  • Support quality-related initiatives and ensure compliance with company procedures
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Travel occasionally as needed to support business objectives
  • Maintain and enhance knowledge of company products, services, and processes
