About The Position

The Inside Sales Representative partners closely with field personnel to drive revenue growth through proactive follow-up, customer engagement, and relationship management. This role focuses on converting proposals and quotes into closed orders while delivering a high level of customer service and ensuring seamless coordination across sales teams. The ideal candidate has a “hunter” mindset, thrives on follow-up activity, and is motivated by turning open opportunities into closed business.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related role, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance targets.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including professional telephone etiquette and consultative selling experience.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, persistent, and results-driven approach to work.

Responsibilities

  • Follow established rules of engagement and handoff procedures with field personnel.
  • Proactively follow up on open proposals, quotes, and dormant accounts through outbound phone calls and email.
  • Nurture existing customer relationships by providing timely, high-quality customer service.
  • Convert proposals and quotes into closed orders through persistent and consultative follow-up.
  • Ensure smooth transitions between Inside and field personnel to avoid duplicate efforts or missed opportunities.
  • Participate in joint customer discussions with field personnel to align on customer needs, feedback, and goals.
  • Manage proposal and quote follow-up activities from initial outreach through closure.
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Support lead management and nurturing activities.
  • Collaborate closely with field personnel and Scheduling teams to coordinate customer outreach and proposal timing.
  • Address customer questions and objections to move opportunities toward closure.
