About The Position

American Pest has an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative with a background in inside sales/sales support or account-based customer management. This position will allow you the opportunity to connect with large amounts of inbound customers to consult with them on their pest control needs, identify sales opportunities, and close & retain business. Requirements

  • 2-3 years in a customer-facing role within the sales or service industry.
  • Comfort with learning and using new technology & software/apps.
  • A self-motivated and competitive mindset with a desire to win.
  • Experience with and examples of problem-solving in a work environment.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to effectively manage your time, prioritizing multiple tasks and maximizing performance while remaining customer-focused.
  • The ability to learn and retain complex pest control industry knowledge through company-provided training.
  • A high school diploma.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual ability in English and Spanish.
  • PestPac experience.
  • Associate or higher degree.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to high-volume inbound customer inquiries, focusing on sales and customer service.
  • Become an expert in American Pest's products, services, programs, and pricing.
  • Manage all aspects of the inbound business-to-consumer journey, including handling inbound leads by phone/website submissions/third-party lead generation software.
  • Conduct consultative needs assessments.
  • Document customer data in our web-based CRM.
  • Provide estimates for services.
  • Deliver electronic proposals.
  • Collect payment information.
  • Schedule services and provide notification of service.
  • Ensure adequate follow-up on open leads.
  • Engage in outbound sales activities and develop your pipeline.
  • Provide outstanding customer service throughout the sales process.
