About The Position

We’re seeking a driven and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our Customer Experience team at Anthony’s Richmond, VA office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving customer challenges, and is passionate about delivering exceptional service from quote to post-shipment support. You’ll play a key role in supporting our sales managers and commissioned representatives, ensuring seamless order processing, accurate pricing, and a positive customer journey.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service or inside sales
Proven customer-first mindset with a passion for service excellence
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)
Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines
Collaborative team player with cross-functional agility
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to contribute to team success

Nice To Haves

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field
Experience with AS400 or similar mainframe systems
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external clients
Provide responsive, high-quality customer service across all touchpoints
Initiate and manage pre-sale activities including product knowledge, quoting, and order entry
Ensure post-shipment follow-through and customer satisfaction
Assure accurate customer pricing
Collaborate with sales managers and reps to support quoting and order fulfillment
Troubleshoot issues and proactively resolve customer concerns
Track and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
