Requirements

  • Knowledge of current agricultural issues
  • Ability to work flexible hours and weekends as needed
  • Ability to safely operate, mount/dismount, hook up, secure, and transport equipment
  • Ability to sit, stand, squat, and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Strong math and computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • A few years of account management or direct sales experience (ag equipment preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in business or agriculture

Responsibilities

  • Engage with new and existing customers to understand their needs
  • Educate customers on our full product and service offering
  • Proactively reach out to prospects and follow up on leads
  • Collaborate closely with outside sales, parts, service, and support teams
  • Recommend solutions using knowledge of John Deere and competitive equipment
  • Stay informed on incentive programs and financing options
  • Provide value-driven guidance to help improve customer operations
