About The Position

This role focuses on lead generation, sales activities, customer support, relationship management, product knowledge, and operational efficiency. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying and researching potential customers, qualifying leads, building a prospect pipeline, and closing sales. They will also provide customer support, maintain product knowledge, and ensure accurate record-keeping. The position requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a commitment to the company's core values of integrity, trust, excellence, respect, and teamwork.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, associate’s degree or an equivalent level of training or experience
  • Relevant experience in a tech support, customer service role or an equivalent skill set
  • Strong computer skills and technical knowledge
  • Proven ability to provide quality customer service support
  • Strong organization skills to promptly address all customer inquiries
  • Ability to develop detailed knowledge of Company products, features and benefits
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Strong customer interaction and people skills

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential customers through various channels like, cold calling, email campaigns, market research, and existing customer reviews
  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns and website inquiries
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects in coordination with the outside sales team
  • Utilize CRM tools to track, manage, and grow prospect interactions
  • Conduct market research to uncover new business opportunities
  • Complete 20+ outbound calls daily to prospects and existing customers
  • Conduct needs assessments to understand customer requirements and challenges
  • Present product features, benefits, and value propositions effectively
  • Deliver product demonstrations via phone, video conferencing, or screen sharing
  • Prepare and deliver customized proposals and quotes
  • Close sales and achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets
  • Enter orders into the ERP quickly and efficiently
  • Quickly and accurately identify customer questions, issues and needs
  • Recommend the most effective product or solution with a focus on ease and efficiency
  • Maintain a positive, professional and empathetic approach in all customer interactions
  • Handle challenging situations with composure and confidence
  • Guide customers through solutions in a clear and patient manner
  • Maintain a deep understanding of company products, services, and customer use cases
  • Clearly articulate product advantages versus competitors
  • Apply best practices to recommend, explain, and sell optimal solutions
  • Meet or exceed team response time goals for calls, inquiries, and feedback
  • Contribute to improved response times through documentation and knowledge sharing
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales and customer interactions in CRM
  • Track and report key performance metrics (call volume, conversion rates, revenue)
  • Produce accurate and timely written orders with minimal revisions required
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and team initiatives
  • Stay organized and ensure all customer issues are followed through to completion
  • Accurately document required information to support reporting and operations
  • Utilize downtime productively for continuous improvement and development
  • Identify opportunities to improve products, services, and customer experience
  • Contribute to the implementation of process improvements to address recurring issues
  • Provide feedback to marketing on lead quality and campaign effectiveness
