The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying and targeting potential clients in the transportation industry, conducting outbound sales calls and emails to generate new business, and qualifying leads. This role involves developing and maintaining a pipeline of prospective clients, reaching out to potential leads daily to secure new lease business and gain market share. Additionally, the representative will build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understand their transportation needs, provide tailored solutions, and address inquiries. The position also requires developing and implementing effective sales strategies, collaborating with the sales team, monitoring market trends, and coordinating with internal departments for new account onboarding. This includes securing pricing, equipment bookings, credit approval, and contract setup, as well as assisting Regional Sales Managers with processing new term lease deals. Accurate record-keeping in Salesforce, preparing sales reports, and using CRM software are also key responsibilities.
