About The Position

Appalachian Network Services Inc. is seeking a driven Inside Sales Representative to join their expanding sales team. In this role, the representative will focus 100% on customer meetings, proposal creation, and selecting margins for high-value technology integration projects and service agreements, with no cold calling required. This is a golden opportunity for someone who wants to do real sales work – closing deals and growing accounts in a high-performing, low-drama environment. The company is a rapidly growing tech integrator, with leadership having closed $3.5 million in inbound sales this year without a single cold call. The role is inbound-focused, allowing the representative to spend time on sales rather than prospecting. The company is scaling fast, and this role is expected to grow with it. Average project sizes range from $50,000-$100,000.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of inside sales or customer service experience (tech industry preferred)
  • CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Proven ability to hit and exceed sales goals
  • Great communicator, confident closer, and someone who loves working a pipeline
  • Certified Inside Sales Professional (CISP) (or obtain within 6 months)
  • HubSpot Inbound Sales Certification (or obtain within 6 months)
  • Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCXP) (or obtain within 6 months)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt - Sales (or obtain within 6 months)

Responsibilities

  • Own the sales process: Qualify inbound leads, conduct client discovery, present tailored solutions, and close the deal.
  • Build relationships: Stay connected with current clients, ensuring their evolving needs are met.
  • Develop proposals: Collaborate with our Sales Engineers and leadership to craft technical and financial proposals with clarity and precision.
  • Track performance: Manage your pipeline, quota, and progress using our CRM and team planning tools.
  • Stay sharp: Continuously build your knowledge of our industry-leading solutions-HPE, Microsoft, Verkada, Aruba, Bosch, and more.
