Requirements

• High school diploma
• 1–2 years of inside sales or customer service experience
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Detail oriented with solid time-management skills
• Ability to learn quickly and adjust to evolving processes

Nice To Haves

• A background in construction materials, distribution, or related fields is helpful, but not required

Responsibilities

• Welcome incoming customer calls or customer walk-ins by answering questions and following up with product recommendations and price quotes
• Accurately enter customer orders, quotes, and product information into our system for timely customer fulfillment
• Make daily outbound calls to current customers, prospects, and target accounts to strengthen relationships and drive new revenue opportunities
• Provide support to the outside sales team by communicating customer activity, qualifying prospects, and nurturing leads
• CRM Management – log activities, interactions, and customer information accurately (e.g., Sales Management Plus)
• Maintain consistent communication with warehouse personnel to ensure customer needs are met
• Assists in warehouse and additional functions as needed
