IKM Building Solutions is seeking a driven, customer-focused Service Inside Sales Representative to support our Service Department. In this role, you’ll combine sales expertise with operational coordination—providing quotes, supporting account managers, and delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • 2-3 years of inside sales experience (required)
  • Experience managing a high volume of outbound calls
  • Competitive, goal-oriented mindset with strong follow-through
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Strong customer service and communication abilities
  • Comfortable with CRM systems and learning new software
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Professional, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential information

Nice To Haves

  • Estimating and/or HVAC industry experience preferred
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide service-related information and quotes
  • Estimate and prepare repair proposals based on technician findings or customer requests
  • Coordinate with vendors to gather pricing for services and materials
  • Track and manage repair proposals in CRM (SmartSheet) and follow up on outstanding quotes
  • Support renewal and preparation of Planned Maintenance Agreements (PMAs)
  • Assist with job setup and coordination (equipment, rentals, trucking, parts, etc.)
  • Handle inbound calls and emails from new and existing customers
  • Support Account Managers with estimating, site surveys, and national account work
  • Complete service order requests and maintain accurate documentation
  • Follow up on marketing initiatives and customer outreach campaigns
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing training opportunities
