About The Position

This is a hands-on, individual contributor role focused on day-to-day sales, account growth, and customer interaction. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for managing customer relationships, processing orders, and driving incremental revenue through account development and product recommendations. This role focuses on day-to-day sales execution within an established customer base, with an emphasis on repeat business, upselling, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of inside sales experience, preferably in B2B distribution, building materials, or industrial environments
  • Proven ability to generate sales, upsell products, and grow customer accounts
  • Strong phone presence with confidence in handling sales conversations
  • Ability to build relationships with a wide range of customers (contractors, builders, etc.)
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and B2B customers to drive repeat business
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products based on customer needs
  • Actively manage and grow existing accounts through consistent follow-up and customer engagement
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to generate sales and support customer orders
  • Qualify customer needs, provide accurate pricing/quotes, and close sales opportunities
  • Respond to customer inquiries and present product solutions aligned with their requirements
  • Learn and confidently communicate product knowledge to support customer decisions
  • Collaborate with internal teams (warehouse, operations) to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
  • Manage multiple orders, requests, and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Provide a high level of customer service while maintaining a focus on revenue generation
