About The Position

Anchor Pump has been supplying Quality Products to Industrial Customers with an emphasis on service since 1981. Through acquisitions and growth, they now offer the largest, most experienced field sales team in their market. In 2018, Anchor Pump became part of INSCO Group, a division of Flow Control Group. Anchor Pump distributes industrial pumps, variable frequency drives, seals, and related engineered equipment, and provides service and training seminars.

• High energy, drive and sense of responsibility
• High School Diploma
• Strong mechanical aptitude a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain and cultivate positive customer relationships and be comfortable communicating via phone and email
• Provide price and availability on any standard or specialty items directly to customers
• Take and solicit orders from customers over the phone and via e-mail
• Process orders, via order entry system, from our stock or directly source from suppliers
• Expedite orders and maintain contact with customers and suppliers.
• Follow up on orders to assure critical deliveries.
• Resolve any order problems related to delivery or paperwork issues directly with customer and suppliers.
• Handle all inquiries/contacts in a professional manner.
• Work in concert with our outside sales team; funnel leads/opportunities to the sales team
• Resolve product issues or determine product needs over the phone or via e-mail
• Assist with Shipping and Receiving of Products as they come in
• Periodically you will be asked to attend essential trainings at our vendor locations that may involve overnight travel. All travel expenses will be reimbursed and paid for by the company.
