About The Position

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for delivering the highest level of customer service to clients and customers and establishing new accounts for TEC Equipment Company.

Requirements

Associate's or bachelor’s degree in business administration or other related fields
A minimum of 2 years of previous sales management experience in equipment sales and rentals or other similar industry
Knowledge of various phases of construction, equipment applications, features, benefits, operations, and specification
Ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 50 pounds or more
Working inside/outside when required by the job
Work with a group and/or team
Work after normal business hours

Nice To Haves

Industrial, vocational, or mechanical training is a plus.
OSHA-30 certification Recommended

Responsibilities

Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers, implement sales plans to grow business, maintain current customer base, and actively promote the TEC brand.
Develop and maintain strong partnerships with customers and serve as a consultant at the branch, with responsibility for recommending solutions to customers; Engage in regular follow up conversations within a set cycle; Maintain existing accounts.
Prepare sales plans, sales reports, and expense reports. Demonstrate an ability to communicate said plans and reports to the team and to leadership on a regular basis.
Ensure and maintain positive and thorough communications with management, co-workers, and marketing regarding new equipment, equipment availability, and rental programs.
Possess working knowledge of equipment capabilities and maintenance basics.
Assist in collecting payments from customers and maintain accurate customer records.
Work closely with outside sales reps and coordinate with them on quotes and sales to customers.
Sell and quote products to customers in person, on the phone and via email; Work within computer system for order entry, quotes, and checking product availability/pricing.
