The Inside Sales Representative - Surface Safety Systems will be responsible for reviewing tender/bid documents to assess the company’s ability to participate in competitive bid situations. This role involves interacting with manufacturing and procurement to determine product costing and delivery, preparing quotations and technical documents, and managing customer interactions throughout the bid and order process. The position also requires coordinating shipments, handling customer complaints, managing product repairs, creating quotations and sales orders in SAP, and coordinating with finance on customer credit applications. Additionally, the role ensures manufacturing controls meet customer requirements, initiates contact with internal groups for order coordination, manages outsourced services, and navigates customer portals for documentation submission. The ability to manage engineering drawings/design packages is also a key function. Other duties may be assigned by the Surface Safety Systems – Inside Sales Manager.
