About The Position

As an important part of meeting this growing demand, an Inside Sales role will assume responsibility for managing and growing their assigned accounts. Representative works directly with customers to provide service proposals, follow up on prospect inquiries, and upselling. Role is responsible for the promotion and sales of Vertiv’s current service offerings to customers through building relationships and generating new business. The Inside Sales position for services offers a generous commission structure as well as much exposure to the business, providing the potential for many outlets of career growth at Vertiv. Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferably Business Admin, Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations)
  • 1+ years of work experience
  • Strong phone presence
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Responsibilities

  • Meet established revenue target within assigned accounts through follow-up.
  • Creates and tracks Customer Relationship Management (CRM) opportunities & quotes.
  • Responsible for updating opportunities and customer information in the CRM tool including win/loss/cancellations.
  • Secure customer orders and enter orders correctly for invoicing.
  • Provides Inbound & Outbound customer communications (calls and e-mails) and escalates to others for technical support as needed.
  • Increase customer satisfaction by serving as a customer advocate to interact with various internal departments on behalf of the customer.
  • Establish working knowledge of related product lines, both new and existing, by completing company training and on the job experience.
  • Willingness to pivot to other duties as assigned.
