About The Position

Richardson RFPD, an Arrow Company, is a specialized electronic component distributor providing design engineers with deep technical expertise and localized global design support for the latest new products from the world’s leading suppliers of RF, Wireless, IoT and Power Technologies. This role involves customer relationship management, sales processing, inventory and logistics assistance, lead generation, and technical support collaboration. The Inside Sales Representative II will act as the primary internal contact for assigned customer accounts, providing proactive service and support. They will work in tandem with a Field Sales Engineer/Technical Sales Representative to manage the territory as a team. Key responsibilities include processing RFQs, sales orders, managing order alerts, checking stock availability, assisting with after-sale situations, managing supplier leads, expanding product offerings at existing accounts, and collaborating with technical teams to provide solutions and alternatives to customers.

Requirements

  • 2-4+ years of Inside Sales or Sales support experience, preferably in electronic component or semiconductor distribution.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong negotiation abilities.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Viable candidates for this position must be eligible for an export license or be a U.S. Person (which includes but is not limited to U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees).

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience using Oracle or similar (ERP/CRM) for order processing, quoting, and customer data management.
  • Basic understanding of semiconductors, passive components, or electronic components.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not necessary if there is proven industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary internal contact for assigned customer accounts, providing proactive service and support.
  • Manage the territory as a team with a Field Sales Engineer/Technical Sales Representative.
  • Utilize Oracle to process RFQ's (request for quotes), sales orders, and manage various order alerts.
  • Check stock availability and shipping dates.
  • Assist in managing after the sale situations with the support of our Customer Service team.
  • Manage leads from our suppliers.
  • Work with your FSE/TSR to expand product offerings at existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with FSE/TSR, Product Managers, and Field Application Engineers to assist in providing technical solutions and product alternatives to customers.
