About The Position

Pilkington North America, a subsidiary of the Nippon Sheet Glass (NSG) group, is a leading manufacturer and distributor of automotive and flat glass. We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative for a high-volume outbound calling role. This role focuses on closing sales and achieving goals through lead follow-up, outbound calls, and emails, without a commission structure.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate/Bachelor degree in progress
  • SAP working knowledge
  • Experience working with Hubspot or similar CRM
  • Previous aftermarket glass customer service experience preferred
  • Previous multi-line phone experience
  • Bilingual Spanish/English a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Close sales and achieve monthly/quarterly goals
  • Find and qualify new business opportunities through lead follow-up, outbound calls and emails.
  • Conduct sales calls and initiate customer contact to execute the service center sales action plan.
  • Qualify, follow-up, and track sales leads.
  • Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest.
  • Understand prospective customer needs and requirements to ensure a great customer experience.
  • Collaborate with national and local account teams to develop and track promotional programs.
  • Work with the accessory team to develop local accessory and flat glass promotions.
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relations as well as a local work environment.
  • Demonstrate and support a continuous improvement and growth mindset.
  • Assist in the maintenance of customer accounts, account setup, and development of customer profiles.
  • Complete reports as needed and requested by management.
  • Collaborate with the credit department in the timely collection of receivables, reconciliation of customer statements, CDA’s, deductions, etc.
  • Comply with all J SOX requirements.
  • Adhere to NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct and its Values and Principles.
