About The Position

About the Role MiniMed is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to remotely drive sales and patient engagement. This role focuses on outbound calling, lead conversion, and ongoing customer support, with a strong emphasis on CRM management and administrative accuracy. You will play a critical role in helping patients access the right technology while meeting performance goals. This is a hybrid role with an expectation to report onsite to our Brampton, ON site three days per week.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant sales experience, with a High School Diploma or Minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience, with an Associate’s Degree or Minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience, with a Bachelor's Degree

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual English and French
  • 3+ years of experience in health care sales, sales in medical devices, capital equipment sales, surgical sales,in hospital pharmaceuticals, sales, contracts, training, clinical, marketing, customer/tech services, customer education or other customer facing role/experience.
  • Comfort and experience with phone-based customer sales interactions and structured outreach.
  • Challenger sales approach and experience in sales interactions
  • Experience using PCRM systems or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes.
  • Practical knowledge of sales techniques, strategies & relationship building
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently & drive results
  • Documented sales success, preferably in B2B sales or health care
  • Ability to teach & educate medical personnel, peers & technical support personnel
  • Previous experience with SalesForce.com, SAP
  • Experience with hospital, cath lab, physician settings
  • Experience selling complex products over the phone

Responsibilities

  • Remotely sells Medtronic's products and retains end-user patients within an assigned geographic area and/ or specific customer accounts for pre-defined territory locations to achieve or exceed assigned sales goals.
  • Identify, develop and close leads for the business and refer on internal leads when appropriate.
  • Provides input on new markets, new product introductions, and existing products or supplies.
  • Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services.
  • Manages and responds to customer concerns and problems.
  • Arranges demonstration of products by field sales representatives.
  • Assists the field sales representatives in the planning and execution of sales activities as well as providing on-going sales support including sales calls, data analysis, customer opportunities, and sales rep follow-up.
  • Responsible for reporting complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR)
  • Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with key decision-makers, including physicians, administrators, and procurement departments.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training to healthcare providers to ensure they understand product features and benefits.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional activities and product launches.
  • Submit accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and other administrative tasks.
