About The Position

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for managing inbound and outbound sales activities to drive equipment sales and support customer needs. This position serves as the first point of contact for walk-in customers, phone inquiries, and online leads, providing exceptional service and product knowledge to ensure a positive buying experience. The Inside Sales Representative will maintain strong relationships with customers, identify sales opportunities, prepare quotes, and coordinate with the outside sales, service, and parts teams to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Must have ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must have a positive attitude and be a self-starter.
  • Must be organized and a good planner.
  • Ability to set and meet goals.
  • Must possess an aptitude for social media and other web-based forms of communication and interaction.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred minimum of two years sales experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for walk-in customers, phone calls, and online inquiries regarding new and used equipment
  • Drive sales of both new and pre-owned equipment.
  • Demo/loaner cart & machine tracking.
  • Develop & maintain E-commerce and other business opportunities for all assigned accounts, provide quotes and close sales.
  • Establish and maintain close-working relationships with customers at all levels.
  • Assist in cleaning up and maintenance of machine population and customer lists.
  • Introduction and marketing of Ness Turf’s capabilities to all customers.
  • Make sales calls on customers in un-assigned accounts and maintain a quoting process.
  • Maintain customer contact information, sales call reports and weekly call planners in Sales Link.
  • Assist in maintaining the company’s social media presence.
  • Assist in marketing campaigns, special events and other duties as needed.
  • Provide assistance / support to the Sales team for coverage and growth.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet the company, department or individual goals and objectives.
