About The Position

The purpose of the Inside Sales Professional - Driver (ISP) is to identify and serve the needs of our customers, assist them in obtaining products or information, and provide excellent customer service while fulfilling the many needs of customers. This role involves processing customer orders, locating parts, supporting business relationships, assisting with warehouse duties, promoting products, providing technical support, identifying prospective customers, maintaining the sales facility, processing warranties, performing inventory counts, and making occasional deliveries. The position also requires participation in after-hours on-call duties, training classes, and working overtime as assigned. The employee must be able to stand, walk, sit, lay on the floor, use hands, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, taste, and smell. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds and may work in environments ranging from 20 to 105 degrees Fahrenheit. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of customer service and/or sales experience
• Proficient in computers, including Microsoft Office
• Forklift experience
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Maintain a satisfactory driving record as determined by Company Driver Policies
• Qualify for and remain insurable under Company liability insurance policy
• Meet federal and state requirements to operate the vehicle

Nice To Haves

• 2 years’ experience in the HVAC industry

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders received in person (at the sales counter) or by phone, fax, and e-commerce, including company transfers and delivery requests
• Locate parts, equipment, and supplies for our customers from various sources
• Support long-term business relationships with our customers to help promote sales growth and gain acceptance
• Assist in warehouse duties, including pulling customer orders and putting away stock while occasionally operating a forklift
• Promote new and existing products, upgrades, and services to our customers
• Assist customers with technical support and problem solving
• Identify prospective/future customers through store or phone sales and communicate prospects to the sales team (Territory Managers or Account Executives)
• Maintain a professional atmosphere of the sales facility by restocking and maintaining both showroom shelves and product displays
• Process warranties
• Perform cycle counts and assist in maintaining accuracy of physical inventory
• Make occasional deliveries using a site vehicle
• Participate in after-hours on-call duties and training classes
• Work overtime as assigned
• Work cooperatively with others
