This role involves achieving new business sales goals by working with new and established lead sources, and providing professional expertise and service to Personal Lines clients. Requirements

• Experience servicing personal accounts within an insurance agency.
• Thorough knowledge of personal lines coverages and markets.
• Experience with an automated agency management system.
• Active Producer license or ability to obtain license within six months of start date.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business for the agency and take responsibility for business growth and improving relationships with existing and future customers.
• Meet annual sales goals set by management.
• Perform accurate and thorough reviews of client coverage, exposure, and price, and communicate recommendations to the customer in a timely manner, adhering to Hub broker standards.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all available products to enhance sales ability.
• Negotiate favorable coverages and rates for clients.
• Keep communication lines open with the lead source generator.
• Maintain current knowledge of underwriting requirements of carriers.
• Maintain knowledge of policy provisions and any changes.
• Keep current with industry trends by reading appropriate journals, company bulletins, memos, and attending educational classes.
• Prepare reports for management as required.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by Manager.
