About The Position

TMC Trailers is looking for an outgoing, dependable, and motivated person to join our team as an Inside Sales & Marketing Representative. This is a hands-on sales position for someone who enjoys talking with people, building relationships, following up with customers, and helping turn inquiries into sales. The position will handle both incoming and outgoing sales calls while also assisting with social media and basic marketing activities. We are not looking for a marketing degree or a corporate marketing specialist. We are looking for someone who communicates well, is comfortable using social media, has good computer skills, and is willing to learn our products and our business.

Requirements

• Outgoing and comfortable talking with people
• Comfortable making outbound sales calls
• Friendly and professional phone presence
• Can carry on a conversation rather than simply read from a script
• Persistent with follow-up without being overly aggressive
• Basic experience with Facebook and social media
• Comfortable using computers, email, and basic office software
• Organized and able to keep track of multiple leads and conversations
• Can work independently and take initiative
• Dependable and willing to learn
• Enjoys working in a small-team environment

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, retail sales, phone sales, social media, or marketing
• Experience with trailers, equipment, automotive products, construction, agriculture, or similar industries

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming sales calls and customer inquiries
• Make outbound calls to prospective customers, dealers, and leads
• Follow up with customers who have previously contacted us
• Help identify customer needs and recommend the appropriate products
• Develop relationships with existing and prospective customers
• Follow up on quotes and sales opportunities
• Maintain customer and lead information
• Assist with Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms
• Create and post basic social media content
• Respond to social media messages and online inquiries
• Help promote inventory, specials, new products, and company events
• Assist with Facebook Marketplace and other online sales channels
• Take basic product photos and videos for social media
• Work with management on sales and marketing ideas
• Perform other sales and customer-service duties as needed
