About The Position
This role supports the Marine Fittings Manager across sales, bidding, purchasing, and inventory management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive to customer needs, and experienced in industrial piping products.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in the metals or industrial supply industry
- Working knowledge of piping products, pipe fittings, and flanges
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven sales experience and customer service focus
- Ability to read and interpret industry and government specifications
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
Nice To Haves
- Experience with government or defense-related sales.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email regarding copper-nickel (CuNi) piping products, fittings, and flanges
- Prepare and submit job bids, source pricing, and process customer orders
- Assist Product Managers with additional tasks and projects as assigned
- Support inventory maintenance and purchasing activities
