This position is for an Inside Sales Manager who will lead a performance-driven call center team focused on converting opportunities, maximizing pipeline, and driving revenue. The ideal candidate has led high-volume sales teams in solar or home services and knows how to turn warm leads into revenue.

Requirements

  • 5+ years leading inside sales or call center sales teams
  • Proven success in solar, home services, or high-volume B2C sales environments
  • Strong track record of improving conversion, close rates, and revenue
  • Hands-on experience coaching reps on objection handling and closing
  • Experience using Salesforce (or similar CRM) to manage pipeline and performance
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to turn metrics into action

Nice To Haves

  • Experience scaling or rebuilding a sales team or process
  • Background in lead recovery or rehash campaigns
  • Familiarity with dialers, call center tech, or workforce management tools
  • Experience partnering closely with field sales teams
  • Exposure to financing sales or high-ticket transactions

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of inside sales reps to consistently hit and exceed revenue targets
  • Set the tone for a high-performance culture centered on accountability, urgency, and winning
  • Own and manage core KPIs: conversion rate, close rate, speed-to-lead, call activity, and follow-up execution
  • Monitor calls, provide real-time coaching, and uplevel objection handling and closing techniques
  • Drive disciplined pipeline management through Salesforce, ensuring accurate tracking, follow-up, and forecasting
  • Identify gaps in the funnel and implement strategies to improve lead conversion and recovery
  • Optimize scripts, talk tracks, and multi-touch cadences (calls, texts, email) to maximize close rates
  • Partner with Marketing to improve lead quality and with Field teams to ensure seamless handoffs and customer experience
  • Analyze performance data, build action plans, and report on team and individual results
  • Manage scheduling, staffing, and daily operations to maintain productivity and service levels
