Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines is seeking an Inside Sales Manager to join its local council! Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines represents 41 counties within North Carolina. Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines, in partnership with Girl Scouts of the USA, has a mission to build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. The Inside Sales Manager works to successfully execute recruitment efforts by pursuing strategies and protocols to convert member leads across a given footprint. The Inside Sales Manager successfully increases girl and adult volunteer membership through the establishment of new troops and placement in current troops. This position will cover the Sandhills region.

Requirements

• Must reside in North Carolina, specifically within our council’s 41-county service footprint.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience in related field preferred.
• Prior experience and/or knowledge of outside sales, marketing, and /community relations preferred.
• Ability to work with volunteers and community contacts from diverse backgrounds and to build an effective volunteer base and strong working relationships.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and verbal fluency.
• Must be proficient speaking before groups.
• Must have access to car in working order and the ability to travel; Must have a NC registered and insured vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet navigation and usage, social media, and customer relationship management systems.
• Must maintain a professional appearance.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move minimum of 25 pounds.
• Membership in GSUSA and Commitment to GSNCCP and GSUSA Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, and Racial Justice initiatives. Membership must be obtained on or before the first day of employment and maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Drive membership growth by converting prospective girls, adult members, and volunteers into registered participants and troop leaders within assigned geographic areas.
• Utilize CRM systems to manage recruitment leads, guide prospects through the registration process, and achieve membership conversion and growth goals.
• Manage and nurture the membership pipeline by implementing targeted recruitment strategies, monitoring results, and collaborating with Membership Managers to expand troop opportunities.
• Execute council recruitment and engagement initiatives that generate new girl and volunteer leads and support annual membership objectives.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience for prospective and current members.
• Analyze membership and troop data to identify trends, gaps, and growth opportunities, and recommend solutions to improve troop development and placement.
• Maintain expertise in membership recruitment, sales techniques, demographic trends, and volunteer engagement to effectively support diverse communities.
• Represent the organization at recruitment, registration, and community events to promote membership growth and strengthen community partnerships.
• Collaborate across departments, contribute to team initiatives, support special projects, and perform additional duties as assigned.
