About The Position

We’re looking for a driven Sales Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team of Business Development Associates within Triumph Carrier Sales. In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting the pace, building a strong sales culture, and ensuring the team consistently hits and exceeds performance goals. In a typical day, you’ll be leading your BDA team through performance coaching, call reviews, and activity tracking to ensure goals are being met and exceeded. You’ll work closely with leadership to refine sales strategies, review pipeline health, and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates. You’ll also spend time developing team members through ongoing feedback, structured training, and real-time support using tools like Five9 and Level AI. From onboarding new hires to optimizing daily performance, you’ll be hands-on in shaping both individual success and overall team results.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience with at least 3+ years leading and managing sales teams
  • Proven track record of consistently hitting or exceeding sales goals and quotas
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth, or startup-style environments
  • Strong coaching and leadership skills with the ability to develop early-career talent
  • Comfortable using data and performance metrics to drive decision-making
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience in transportation or logistics sales is required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred
  • Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Leading and motivating a high-performance BDA sales team to achieve aggressive growth targets
  • Setting clear expectations, quotas, and performance goals for daily, monthly, and quarterly activity
  • Coaching team members through call reviews, feedback sessions, and ongoing performance management
  • Tracking sales activity, pipeline health, and conversion metrics to drive consistent results
  • Partnering with senior leadership to refine targeting strategies and improve lead generation efforts
  • Supporting hiring, onboarding, and training of new BDAs to ensure a smooth ramp-up
  • Running structured training sessions focused on sales skills, systems, and product knowledge
  • Identifying performance gaps and taking action to improve individual and team outcomes
  • Building a strong, accountable, and motivated sales culture aligned with company goals
