About The Position

Nuovo Artistic Studios is seeking an Inside Sales Manager & Performance Coach to lead, mentor, and scale its sales team, which is based in Montreal and includes remote members across Canada and the USA. This role is crucial for ensuring the team is expertly coached to convert potential clients from social media inquiries into customers. The position requires mastering consultative selling while handling intimate and vulnerable conversations with empathy and grace. It is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and is dedicated to improving both team performance and the client experience.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience and a proven track record in high-ticket B2C sales, ideally in luxury retail, wellness, beauty, or high-end hospitality.
  • At least 5 years managing and leading teams, ideally within a sales environment or a role with a strong focus on driving performance and KPIs.
  • A natural coach with a strong, motivating presence, capable of recognizing subtle behavioral patterns and elevating team members' performance through thoughtful, empowering feedback.
  • Fiercely metrics-driven with a deep passion for sales, conversion rates, and KPIs, holding yourself and your team accountable to high performance standards.
  • Proficient in designing and delivering impactful training programs, transforming complex psychological concepts into simple, actionable sales tools.
  • Outstanding listening capabilities and comfort guiding a team through sensitive or vulnerable client conversations with professionalism.
  • Adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable managing a hybrid team (on-site and remote).

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Client Acquisition Specialists, identifying individual strengths and implementing personalized development plans to hit conversion targets.
  • Create and facilitate workshops, role-plays, and 1:1 coaching sessions focused on active listening, trauma-aware communication, and confidence building.
  • Conduct regular live call monitoring and recording reviews to provide tailored, actionable feedback that enhances both emotional presence and commercial results.
  • Develop high-impact modules for premium B2C sales, including value-based selling, objection handling, and "soft closing" techniques.
  • Refine communication guidelines and scripts to ensure they remain authentic, ethical, and effective across different markets.
  • Establish a structured onboarding and certification process for new hires to ensure a fast and inspired ramp-up period.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive growth while ensuring every client interaction meets our high-standard boutique experience.
