About The Position

This role involves managing customer interactions via phone, fax, and email, handling a heavy workload of inquiries related to Measurement Technician Scheduling, RFQs, Technical Assistance/Support, Factory Support, Technical Product Support, and Delivery Expediting. The position requires ensuring alignment between inside sales efforts and technician availability, supporting the accounting department with invoice and return issues, and assisting sales personnel with instrumentation initiatives. A key aspect is upholding Total Customer Commitment (TCC) standards and collaborating with product principals. The role also includes active participation in training, an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend support, and supporting colleagues during peak workloads. Accurate and timely completion of quotes, order entry, and purchase orders, along with cultivating strong customer relationships, are essential.

Requirements

  • Ability to handle a heavy workload.
  • Proficiency in handling customer inquiries via phone, fax, and email.
  • Understanding of Measurement Technician Scheduling, RFQ’s, Technical Assistance/Support, Factory Support, Technical Product Support, and Delivery Expediting.
  • Ability to align inside sales efforts with technician availability.
  • Familiarity with accounting support for invoices, returns, and customer accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and handle phone calls, faxes, and emails from external & internal customers in a timely manner, often with a heavy workload.
  • Manage information including Measurement Technician Scheduling, RFQ’s, Technical Assistance/Support, Factory Support, Technical Product Support, and Delivery Expediting.
  • Ensure Inside Sales efforts are aligned with Technician availability.
  • Support the accounting department with problem invoices, returns, and general customer account information.
  • Support Sales personnel for the pursuit of Instrumentation initiatives.
  • Understand and ensure that the JHC TCC (Total Customer Commitment) standards are upheld.
  • Work closely with and support JHC product principals.
  • Actively attend required and preferred training.
  • Participate in the after-hour and weekend ‘On-Call’ rotation as required.
  • Support JHC colleagues, especially during overload situations.
  • Accurately complete quotes, order entry, and purchase orders within customer time requirements.
  • Build and cultivate solid relationships.
