About The Position

The Inside Sales Host is responsible for developing and maintaining a coded player block through direct mail, email, and telemarketing by leveraging databases. This role actively participates in telephone solicitation and coordinates personalized direct mailings for assigned markets. The Inside Sales Host must fully comply with all applicable rules, regulations, laws, and policies, conducting themselves with the highest level of integrity and honesty. They ensure a seamless hand-off of guest pre-trip itineraries for flawless on-property execution by the VIP Hospitality Team. The role involves responding to and consistently meeting or exceeding client needs, supporting and cultivating new ideas for business or service solutions, and clearly communicating programs/services. The Inside Sales Host must keep all informed of changes that may impact the business and be knowledgeable of all happenings on property and in the market. This position requires developing skills to handle increasingly complex matters, projecting warmth and enthusiasm in person and on the phone, building rapport to strengthen relationships, and encouraging trial as well as repeat visitation. A willingness to teach, mentor, train, and share information with the team is essential. The role requires the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, respond to visual and aural cues, and present a well-groomed, professional appearance. Team members must meet attendance guidelines, comply with all state, federal, and regulatory policies and procedures, and work a varied schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends as needed, with the ability to work overtime when required. All team members must follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy, which involves proactively greeting guests and fellow team members, acknowledging them within 10 feet, initiating friendly verbal greetings within 5 feet, keeping their head up, looking around, and remembering they are "on stage" when on the floor. Team members will participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions. They must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team, upholding and demonstrating the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognizing standards required by a regulated business. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • One to three years of experience in casino or hotel customer service, guest host, or telemarketing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required.
  • Ability to think independently and make decisions to maximize customer experience and program profitability.
  • Exceptional time management. Must perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.
