About The Position

The Customer Service & Sales Support Representative serves as a key point of contact for homeowners, contractors, and roofing professionals, delivering exceptional service and support throughout the sales process. This role helps drive business success by providing accurate estimates, processing orders efficiently, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Working closely with customers and internal teams, this position ensures projects move forward smoothly while supporting operational excellence and revenue growth. Success in this role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of customer service, sales support, administrative support, or inside sales experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with customers, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to work full-time, on-site schedule Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within the construction, roofing, building materials, manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Experience using QuickBooks or similar ERP/accounting software.
  • Knowledge of estimating, sales order processing, and invoicing practices.
  • Previous experience supporting contractors, distributors, or trade professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service through in-person, phone, email, and text communications.
  • Assist walk-in customers with product inquiries, estimates, order placement, and account support.
  • Manage inbound and outbound customer communications regarding orders, estimates, product information, and project follow-up.
  • Prepare and process estimates, sales orders, and invoices with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Partners with homeowners, contractors, roofing professionals, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate project requirements and sales activities.
  • Utilize QuickBooks and company systems for estimating order entry, invoicing, and customer record management.
  • Maintain organized documentation and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and continuously build knowledge of company products, systems, and operational processes.
