About The Position

Shamrock Roofing & Construction is a family-owned roofing and construction company operating since 1977, with locations across the Midwest. They are seeking a driven Roofing Sales & Customer Care Representative to join their Customer Care Team. This role involves handling inbound and outbound calls to provide updates to current and potential customers regarding their roofing claims or repairs, and partnering closely with the sales team to ensure accurate and professional communication. The ideal candidate has a passion for sales, inside sales experience, and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of inside sales experience minimum.
  • B2C required; B2B a plus.
  • Comfort with spreadsheets (Shamrock uses Google Workspace).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent goal-setting and self-motivation.
  • Basic math and data analysis skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making.
  • Exceptional organization, time management, and multitasking.
  • Keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to current and potential customers with important updates throughout their roofing claims or repairs.
  • Take inbound calls to help customers with updates and communication throughout their claims or repairs — and sell Shamrock services to new leads.
  • Serve as Shamrock’s professional representative in all customer communications, by phone, email, and beyond.
  • Build strong knowledge of our roofing products and services to identify customer needs, upsell, and convert new leads into new roofs.
  • Document each call according to company and departmental policies.
  • Follow up with customers in a timely manner.
  • Bring a positive, patient, and understanding attitude to every interaction and build genuine rapport.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external customers.
  • Handle other duties as assigned by your manager.

Benefits

  • Base pay: $40,000–$45,000 based on experience, plus uncapped commission
