Requirements

• 2 years of inside sales and customer service, or welding experience.
• Proven customer service experience provided through thoughtful and respectful interaction with customers regarding services, products, and invoices.
• General knowledge of welding products and hardgoods.
• Basic computer skills including internet searching, data entry, and ability to learn new programs.
• Demonstrate basic mathematical aptitude and function.
• Ability to lift 75lbs.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Excellent driving record; Class A or B CDL preferred or ability to obtain.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Immediately and politely greet and assist walk-in visitors and customers, and promptly answer phones in a professional and courteous manner.
• Provide excellent and effective customer service, assisting both external and internal customers.
• Process customer sales transactions efficiently while building trust and long-term relationships.
• Support Sales staff/management by providing timely and correct customer information, follow-up scheduling, and fill-in branch coverage.
• Communicate and coordinate with the Store Manager to ensure appropriate product levels are maintained.
• Receive and update inventory, stock shelves, counters, tables, and maintain showroom displays.
• Maintain showroom and location cleanliness.
• Safely maneuver and load cylinders or other products on trailers and customer transportation.
• Adhere to all company policies and guidelines as well as safety procedures.
