About The Position

We are a busy masonry and hardscape supply yard in Northern New Jersey looking for a reliable, motivated Inside Sales / Counter Sales Associate. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you’ll be working directly with contractors, landscapers, and homeowners. The right person is someone who can stay organized under pressure, communicate clearly, and help customers get what they need quickly and accurately.

Requirements

• Previous experience in construction, building materials, landscaping, or related industry preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills (order entry, invoicing, etc.)
• Reliable and punctual
• Someone who works well under pressure and stays productive when busy
• Quick learner with a strong work ethic
• Team player who can also work independently
• Professional attitude with customers and coworkers

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the sales counter and over the phone
• Process orders, invoices, and payments
• Recommend products and provide basic guidance on materials
• Coordinate with yard and warehouse staff to fulfill orders
• Maintain an organized and efficient front counter area
