About The Position

The Inside Sales / Counter Associate is primarily responsible for executing the Colony mission of customer service. This person is responsible for facilitating sales by processing orders and quotations while providing application and product expertise to existing Colony customers.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent required
• A minimum of 2-3 years of successful inside sales experience.
• Knowledge of customer service and order processing systems

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of the construction industry and products a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to ensure they order the right products and that the orders are ready on time.
• Work face-to-face and over phone and email with customers, providing a consultative approach to customer service, suggesting additional and alternative products, add-ons, and other support.
• Coordinate with outside sales, operations, purchasing, and other departments to process orders.
• Communicate with customers via phone and email to respond their needs quickly and accurately.
• Support operations by pulling orders and packing them as needed.
