This role is responsible for managing and documenting commercial sales inquiries, qualifying leads, and providing purchasing and project coordination support for large-scale commercial initiatives. Requirements

  • College-level education preferred
  • 2–4 years of experience in a related role
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for Commercial Inside Sales activities
  • Qualify and manage inbound and outbound commercial leads
  • Maintain accurate records of project details, order activity, and registration identifiers in CRM systems
  • Complete and manage job registration forms
  • Provide product pricing, availability, and technical specifications for Schluter Systems products
  • Generate and process sample orders for commercial projects, ensuring all relevant project details are captured
  • Process purchase orders tied to registered commercial jobs
  • Confirm sample shipments and communicate order status to customers
  • Support shared inboxes, including Ferguson, Plumbing, and other valued partners
  • Act as a primary contact for Ferguson Home
  • Assist with My Design (Digital Print & RAL) inquiries and order processing
  • Support the preparation of custom product quotations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to support project success
  • Participate in training to maintain strong product and process knowledge
  • Initiate outbound outreach to support lead development
  • Maintain and update process and procedure documentation
  • Monitor commercial workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements
  • Provide regular updates to management, including challenges and resolution needs
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, emphasizing consistency, efficiency, and customer experience
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
