About The Position

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Drive growth within assigned territory though the management of house and non-technical accounts including qualifying customers, creating quotes and manage customer expectations. As part of the sales process, initiate contact; gain agreement to next steps in process; gain access to decision makers; quote costs/present solution options; provide timely updates on orders or, respond to other client needs/requests. Via the phone, fax and/or e-mail, support clients with order management, critical order escalation, all non-engineer related tasks, and overall customer experience for assigned territory. Accurately and efficiently document information learned from clients, and, the accomplishment of steps in sales process. Aggressively manage competing responsibilities to maximize time available to make calls and complete other duties. Maintain a proficient understanding of our business system, including the ability to investigate problems and suggest creative solutions. Manage the complete order fulfillment cycle including order processing and administration, product assembly, shipment, invoicing, and payment. As part of the sales process, work in conjunction with the Sales team and Application Engineer assigned to the same territory. Working with the Manager, define and successfully complete learning activities designed to seek and gain knowledge of Interface products, the industry segment, competition, sales skills, and the corporate processes and procedures. This acquired knowledge is to be integrated and consistently demonstrated in the daily execution of assigned duties and tasks. Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years prior experience providing customer service to companies
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft programs & Outlook
  • Effective interpersonal and communication (oral & written) skills required
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from four-year college; Two-years of industry related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience
