The Inside/Counter sales Associate is responsible for generating sales, providing product support, and maintaining strong relationships with customers such as electrical contractors, industrial clients, and commercial buyers. This role involves quoting products, processing orders, and collaborating with outside sales teams to increase revenue.

Requirements

  • 3+ years relevant experience required
  • Ability to negotiate and be persuasive
  • Strong attention to detail

  • Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email regarding various products and solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver price quotations, bids, and proposals.
  • Assist customers with product selection, availability, and alternatives.
  • Process sales orders, returns, and product exchanges.
  • Provide technical product guidance on electrical equipment, components, and systems.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with electrical contractors, OEMs, and industrial clients.
  • Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Support outside sales representatives by managing accounts and identifying upselling opportunities.
  • Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service at the sales counter.
  • Stay updated on new electrical products, codes, and industry trends.
