About The Position

We’re seeking a results-driven Inside Sales Associate to join our team at The Supply Room Companies. You will manage inbound and outbound sales calls within a defined territory of accounts, expand category share of wallet within those customers in order to drive revenue and margin growth. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, a solid customer-centric approach, and a passion for sales. Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in inside sales or customer service, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Solid understanding of the sales process and customer relationship management.
  • Familiarity with using CRM tools and platforms.
  • Experience in conducting virtual meetings and product demos.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build customer rapport.
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively to meet sales goals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Grow wallet share within your account base.
  • Work with the customer, customer care, warehouse and accounting to manage daily activity within your account base.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle: Qualifying leads, identifying customer needs, and providing solutions aligned with the company’s offerings.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about the company’s products and services.
  • Maintain and update the CRM with accurate customer and sales data.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Follow up with prospects to build relationships and convert them into long-term customers.
  • Assist in the development of sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • Handle objections and negotiate with potential customers to ensure a smooth sales process.
  • Provide feedback to management on market trends, customer feedback, and sales tactics.
  • Handle inbound sales inquiries and manage a sales pipeline through to close.
  • Make outbound calls to clients to introduce the company's products or services.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to close deals that meet customer needs and company goals.
  • Prepare and send proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, including calls made, leads generated, and deals closed.
  • Manage follow-up processes to keep leads engaged and moving through the sales pipeline.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competition, and potential opportunities.
  • Provide post-sales support to ensure seamless onboarding and satisfaction.
  • Other duties as assigned.
