About The Position

Acme Tools is seeking a part-time Inside Sales Associate for its retail team in Eagan, Minnesota. The role focuses on providing outstanding customer service, helping guests select tools and equipment, and supporting sales transactions. The schedule is part-time during store operating hours: Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The associate must work every other Saturday. Pay is $19–$21 per hour. Acme Tools is a family-owned retailer serving contractors, woodworkers, and DIY enthusiasts across North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, and online. Requirements

At least one year of customer service experience.
Proven verbal and written communication skills.
Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software.
Ability to work every other Saturday.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist guests professionally and courteously.
Identify customer needs and provide knowledgeable help selecting appropriate tools or equipment.
Close and invoice sales and help load products as needed.
Stay informed about new and current products carried by Acme Tools.
Answer customer questions by phone and in person, provide sales quotes for future purchases, and research products and inventory.
Help customers with equipment starting procedures and break-in periods, and follow up after sales.
Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including fronting, pricing, and stocking shelves and maintaining product displays and work areas.
Participate in store events, including physical inventories, sales meetings, trade shows, and special sales.
Maintain a safe and secure work environment by following and seeking to improve safety standards and reporting suspicious activity.
Complete related tasks as assigned.
