About The Position

The Inside Sales and Service Manager (ISSM) plays a strategic role in aligning the company’s sales goals for B2B Traditional Markets with the sales initiatives of the DTC (Direct to Customer) Inside Sales Team, ensuring success in building long-term customer relationships. The ISSM is a proven sales leader and understands how to translate sales processes into sales action that will drive performance. This role oversees the sales efforts of the Inside Sales Consultants by combining inbound and outbound tactics across an array of sales mediums (phone, email, social, chat, and in-person account visits) to identify, qualify and convert leads through structured, personalized interactions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience working in a competitive sales environment.
  • Experience in outside sales or an outbound sales calling environment is preferred.
  • Experience building commission plans and sales incentive structures with proven success
  • An expert in the relationship between sales and service and knows how to maintain balance so that sales expectations never supersede providing a great customer experience
  • Has led a sales team, with experience in providing sales training, coaching and mentorship.
  • The quality of the type of sales provided is more important than the size of the sales team managed.

Responsibilities

  • Driving revenue growth and managing sales pipelines for our DTC and B2B Traditional Markets which include Single Store Retail, Jobbers and retail end to end users
  • Works directly with Lead Wholesale Coordinator to establish CRM developed Score Cards to help guide sales opportunities, account performance and visibility to the lifecycle of all business leads
  • Responsible for managing sales budget and the travel and related activities to support sales growth expectations of the Inside Sales Team
  • Works directly with SIOP and SIOE to help shape B2B sales inventory needs. This includes New Item Samples, promotional planning, opportunity sales in established Sales Pipelines and sales strategies to draw down discontinued inventories
  • Developing sales strategies to target existing DTC customer base through outbound sales initiatives, leveraging customer purchasing history and insights to build tailored outreach through phone and email in an effort to drive sales and heightened customer experience
  • Gain insights from various CRM’s to help deploy customer engagement efforts that will drive sales and lead to heightened customer satisfaction
  • Bridging Marketing with communication outreach to customers around special buy opportunities
  • Takes the sales vision that supports our company DTC goals, and translate that vision into actionable, measurable results of the team
