About The Position

Come join our award-winning team as the Inside Sales and Events Coordinator at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott located in Draper. Position is full-time, Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm, and some weekends as needed.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of previous hospitality or events experience.
  • Outgoing personality a must.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well organized and extremely detailed oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for booking all meeting and group rooms and ensuring that communication between the client and hotel staff is maintained
  • Assisting General Manager, Director of Sales and individual Account Executives with all sales related activities
  • Assist with event planning, set-up, service and take-down
  • Follow up on sales leads
  • Provide an impressive service experience for all clients and guests during every encounter
  • Establish a stellar and loyal working relationship with top and target accounts
  • Will be trained on Front Desk and act as backup Guest Services Agent as needed.
