At Garden State Tile, we don’t just sell tile; we provide a concierge-level design experience. We are looking for an exceptional Inside Sales & Design Consultant to join our family-owned team at our premier Morris County location. Since 1957, we’ve grown from a local New Jersey shop into one of the nation's premier tile distributors. Our secret? We invest in people. As a Design Consultant, you are the face of our state-of-the-art Dover showroom. You’ll work with homeowners, interior designers, and high-end builders to curate stunning ceramic, porcelain, glass, and stone solutions.
Requirements
- A "concierge" mindset—you go above and beyond for every client.
- A sharp eye for color, texture, and interior design trends.
- The hustle to cold call new trade accounts and cultivate long-term referrals.
- The confidence to make independent decisions and resolve client needs on the fly.
- Tech-savviness to master our Epicor Prophet 21 system.
Responsibilities
- Design & Consult: Lead clients through the creative process to build functional, aesthetically breathtaking spaces.
- Own the Project: Manage multiple high-end projects with precision, ensuring every customer receives world-class follow-up.
- Expand the Network: Actively build your book of business by networking with North Jersey contractors, house flippers, and architects.
- Stay Ahead of Trends: Be the expert. Study new launches and visit local competitors to ensure Garden State Tile remains the regional leader.
